My Background & Transition into Learning Design
Hi, I'm Tacita—a learning content creator pursuing formal training in instructional design and eLearning development.
My journey into this field has been organic. For 15 years, I worked as a CRM Administrator and Database Manager, supporting real estate educational professionals with systems and data. But over time, I found myself increasingly involved in creating the training content itself—webinars, online courses, workbooks, graphics, and videos that helped brokers and agents build better businesses.
I've developed 40+ training sessions and two comprehensive online courses (a 10-module program for brokers and a 9-module program for agents) hosted on Teachable and LearnWorlds, reaching professionals across North America and Europe. While I created this content intuitively, based on what I saw professionals needed, I realized I wanted to understand the "why" behind what makes learning stick.
That's why I'm currently enrolled in courses on Instructional Design, eLearning Tools, LMS Platforms, and web development—to formalize my skills, learn evidence-based design principles, and expand my technical capabilities. I'm building on practical experience while gaining the frameworks and tools to create even more effective learning experiences.
